ALL AD's SHOULD BE THIS HONEST
This kind of advertising makes me glad I buy stuff from these people, so obviously it works.
I must give high praise to the management at CI for letting this review go to print. Now it might be a Stan Fredberg anti-ad (like the one he did for Geno's Pizza Rolls) where you sell by making fun of yourself, but I don't think so. Also, an award to whoever wrote up this copy.(Damn me if your not a poetic genius). This kind of thing is easy for me to write, but to submit it to the boss as ad copy for a product you are trying to sell? That's just damn heroic! If anyone ever suggests to me that me that there should be a "Tomb of the Unknown Copywriter" I will put this piece forward to be prominently placed as the "Cryptic Adornment". .
